Inspired by the ugly babies of renaissance art, this was painted during a residency in Florence, Italy. This baby is a self portrait via Andrea Mantegna's Madonna and Child in combination with Francesco Clemente's Self-Portrait in White, Red and Black VI.
Where it's been: Exhibited at Xpace Cultural Centre's annual fundraiser art show.
